The 14 illustrations are consuming my doodling time. I took a break and doodled this up.
The Chipettes -- Eleanor, Jeanette and Brittany Miller.
I suddenly remembered that 'The Chipmunk Adventure' movie existed, and how much I adored it when I was little. And promptly went to Youtube to watch all the musical bits and fell in love all over again.
I always loved the Chipettes back then... because they were girls. >:O I wanted them to beat the boys because I was a silly little girl and boys were SMELLY.
;_; God I'm such a dork. But yeah, I put them in their little Arabian outfits because that was one of my favorite parts. One, the dancing with snakes bit was too absurd for me to not love it. Secondly... the whole ">:| You were going to eat a baby penguin?" bit amused me ENDLESSLY.
Need to buy the movie, as corny as it is. ;.; And the animation was quite nice!
Oh, and some more nerd ramblings: My character Bridgette (Waverly's friend, from that Wishy Washi comic I'll never do *hit*) is an intentional Brittany rip-off-- I mean homage :D
I don't know why I didn't put Brittany in the middle. That would have made more sense. Oh well.
I know that movie, too. It was so nicely drawn XD I always loved the episodes with the Chipettes and Brittany was my favorite XD
Just a view days ago I was watching old cartoon intros and I remebered the movie.
You have such good PC coloring skills! Love the colors! And those three are adorable. How did you draw the white line around their bodies (srry, I don't know how to express it XD)?
Always love your pics!

I make outlines in a very stupid and tedious way, really. XD
If you were using photoshop, you'd right-click the layer in the layer window (I don't know proper terms) and select 'blending' properties, find 'stroke' and click it and edit the settings.
What I did in this one is merge the lineart and colors and then select all of the girls with a 5 pixel feather, and filled the selection on a layer below them with white. But the feather makes the outline fuzzy at first, so I have to fill and fill and fill till it becomes solid.
XD way stupid, but Paintshop Pro doesn't give many options for stroke/outlines.
i loved watching the chipmunks and you cant have those guys without these girls, xD and that movie was too cool x3 it was a favorite of mine as a kid as well, im probably going to have to go watch it now x3
