UPDATES, HOORAY

I have my new tablet, hurrah! It's so lovely. It's a Bamboo Fun, and a Valentines present frommy honey. It's white and wonderful and I love the shortcut buttons! My version didn't come with a wireless mouse though, but I was elated to find out my old dead tablet's wireless mouse worked with it! That's $29 I don't have to spend to buy one... because I totally would have.


I also now have a Hentai Foundry account. I actually did a really nice not-Devart-approved pic I'm super proud of... I may edit it to be DA-safe.

I'll probably send links to certain friends soon. I guess I'll send the link to people who request it. But I'd rather only send it to friends. Not that I'm embarrassed of it... but like in anything I do, I try to weed out the morons. I just have no patience for stupid people lately.

The only reason I'm not linking to my Hentai Foundry account from DA is to not provide easy access to it for my family who occasionally swing by this page, and for the few tards I know at college whom I don't want looking at my art in the first place.

Not posting the link here isn't out of shame -- if my family sees this and decides to investigate and find my OMG PORN DOODLES account, all the power to them. It really isn't that hard to do if you put your mind to it. But when I keep it from being obvious and they seek it out, they can't bitch at me for them seeing said drawings. Its their own damn fault, they can deal.

Honestly, having a gallery to display EROTIC DOODLES has been a long time coming. I've always hid them, embarrassed and crap ... but jeez. Why do that. Especially with my 'Sexuality is cool and even healthy' stance I spout all the damn time. I should avoid hypocrisy when I can. I mean, I am human. But you know. It's nice to practice what you preach.


I've also been doing a lot of comic-related work. I've been getting a bit of progress on the Streak, and vowed to draw a page a day. I didn't get around to it yesterday, but today I'm downing a 5-hour energy drink and drawing my little heart out. If I can, I'll try for 2 pages. It's hard though, as I'm drawing it A3 size at 200 dpi. And my computer hates me for it...

... seriously my computer is the crappiest thing in the world. If it wasn't my only one, I'd shove it out the window and do a happy-dance on its shattered parts, grinding them into the concrete.

... anyway, I've also got almost a freaking novel of notes for the Melissa comic, and my goal is to start drawing Issue one next week. It's going to be an online comic -- I don't classify it as a web comic, as it will be a pretty traditional-format comic that isn't regularly updated and doesn't have a schedule. It's just going to be a comic that you can view on the web. If people like it, I'd try to print and bind it and send it to friends for the cost of shipping. Who knows.

BUT WE'LL SEE.


I also went to see the little house my friend was talking about ... good lord, was she sugar-coating it when she told us about the house. It's a shack. On cinder blocks. Even for $300 a month, it ain't worth it. I can get and apartment here for a little bit more that's 20 times nicer -- and said apartment is kinda crappy as it is, but very livable.


My next journal will be soon, probably later today, and probably a major cartoon/anime rant that's a bit Danny Phantom-centric.
